The lone gunman who killed two New York City police officers execution style, has been identified as a Baltimore man who posted chilling anti-cop messages to social media Saturday before traveling to New York to carry out his threats.

Authorities said Baltimore-native Ismaaiyl Brinsley traveled to New York to kill, and randomly targeted the officers based on their uniform. He killed NYPD Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.
