The long-awaited “Mad Max: Fury Road” official trailer has been released, and it’s sure to please fans with the dusty, dirty, high-octane, post-apocalyptic scenes filled with tons of metal, steam-punk style machines, lots of weapons, explosions and, of course, epic violence.

Directed by George Miller and starring Tom Hardy as the legendary Max, alongside a nearly-bald (but nonetheless still beautiful) Charlize Theron as Furiosa.

Mad Max: Fury Road is due in theaters May 15, 2015.

After years as a successful wedding photographer, Hillary Maybery decided to challenge herself to something new and tackle the fashion industry, but while searching for a teen model, her journey took an unexpected turn that eventually chipped away at her preconceived notions about hunters, which she once viewed as “barbaric, blood thirsty, gun lovers.”

Released by the French Air Force, this video was created as for a conference organized by the Air Force and the Atomic Energy Commission in Alternative Energies titled “50 years of nuclear deterrence requirements and relevance in the 21st century.” In 10 short minutes the video gives a glimpse of the different phases involved in a nuclear missile strike, including the precision of a mid-air refueling.

The fun and fabulous Kirsten Joy Weiss paid homage to sharpshooter Annie Oakley by trying the famous card trick shot. Using a lever action rifle and a .22-caliber bullet, Weiss splits a playing card while aiming backwards using a mirror to grab the title of the longest said trick.

“It’s all about challenging yourself and having fun,” Weiss writes. “It is the fun, challenge, and joy of shooting afterall!”
