Tue, 02/28/2023 - 08:00

You have no right to a gun. You are not a militia. When you’re talking about your second amendment rights you’re talking about a states right to have what is today the national guard. The modern interpretation of 2A is a ridiculous fraud pushed for decades by the gun lobby.

Pentagon’s Latest Strategy: Disarm Troops To Prevent Suicides

Sun, 02/26/2023 - 10:00

Remember that quote from Benjamin Franklin? It goes like this: Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. That applies to a lot of aspects of American life and society, not the least of which is gun control.

Advocates for “gun safety” schemes want us all to submit. After all, it’s for our own good. Or so they tell us.

Now, in an effort to address the soaring rates of military suicides, Joe Biden’s Department of Defense wants to “restrict gun access” of military servicemembers, both on – and off – bases.

Passively Constructed Negligent Discharge Story of the Day: Louisville Cop Wounds 2

Fri, 02/24/2023 - 16:00

You and I know that when a person fires his or her gun, they’re responsible for it. They did something to cause the gun to discharge. Guns don’t just “go off” by themselves, no matter what kind of bull$hit you may read in the press or hear from those who are responsible.

With a few notable exceptions involving design or manufacturing problems, modern guns are safer than they’ve ever been. You can hit them, drop them, kick them, throw them, and otherwise abuse and misuse the hell out of them in a range of very inadvisable ways and they still won’t discharge.

It’s an important mission for the gun banning industry, because once Gov. Ron DeSantis signs the bill – and he will – a majority of states will have allowed unlicensed or permitless carry.
