...Captain Morgan and Cannons
Alcohol and firearms are not a good combination. But that only applies to drinking said alcohol and operating said firearms. Using a cannon, supplied by Captain Morgan, to shoot at some drinks is totally ok. The Slo Mo Guys video the cannon ball smashing thru a pyramid of glasses and drinks captured in super slow motion. I hope more alcohol companies take note and combine alcohol with firearms responsibly. Enjoy.

Polish drum cannon/rocket ships
These kids in Poland are using trashcans and oil drums either as a cannon or launching the drums in the air.
Do not try this at home. It looks fun and dangerous all at the same time.
Trash cannon.

...Gear Review: Armageddon Tactical GMS-15 AR Ambi Charging Handle
I can’t remember who the famous shooter who stated. “The charging handle is the weak point of the AR-15 design,”. Despite my faulty memory, I agree with the assertion. The original charging handle design of the AR-15 is, in a word, “under-engineered.” Outside of its structural issues (which cannot be solved without a fundamental re-design), the charging handle is plainly too small for combat manipulation and lacks ambidextrous ergonomics.

...KRISS Vector Right Hand Magazine Release
Necessity is the mother of invention. Last year, when I was living in NY state, I figured out that I could use my KRISS Vector faster if I could release the magazine with my right hand. We were only allowed 10 rd magazines so reloading was crucial to action pistol caliber matches at my club. I had been shooting my Vector Carbine like an AR and using an extended thumb over bore grip with my left hand. The KRISS Vector magazine is a Glock 21, so the magazine catch is also a Glock design. I would have to release my left hand, move to the magwell, press the mag release and then go for a fresh mag. I then developed a magazine release lever that is mounted to the right side of the weapon. It makes reloads much faster.
...Shooting Review: Adams Arms’ 5.45×39 Mid-Length Complete Upper Receiver
This review could not have come at a worse time to a better company. TFB requested the Adams Arms upper when 7n6 was plentiful. With the recent ban on cheap MilSurp ammo, the allure of 5.45 may be waning, but as a DI guy I walked away plenty impressed with the Adams Arms piston kit.
