Mon, 12/07/2015 - 13:51

This video is every archer's worst nightmare. According to the video description by theedexitvideo, this footage is a result of an archer's arrow sliding off the release and impaling their wrist. The injured archer was using a bow with a 70-pound draw when this happened, so there was a significant amount of energy behind the arrow. Mon, 12/07/2015 - 07:37

This is the second article in our series examining whether certain Republican presidential candidates are really pro-gun. Check out the first one on Donald Trump here. Like Trump, Ben Carson does not have the voting record of a career politician. Heck, that’s probably a good thing. I might even vote for a can of spackle over most any career politician. Since we can’t look at voting records in Candidate Carson’s case, we’ll take a close look at what he’s said over the years, and then...

Video: Big Buck Rescued from Frozen River

Fri, 12/04/2015 - 14:35

Hooves are great over just about most kinds of terrain, but they fare poorly against ice. This buck found that out the hard way when he fell into Colorado's Big Thompson River and was unable to bring himself back on shore. It is not uncommon for deer to brave frozen lakes and rivers during the winter, and the animals often die if they fall in. Fortunately for this buck, police officers from Estes Park were called out to the scene and were able to bring it back on dry land. https://youtu.be/Y29NeawVYFw...

Officials are still searching for a motive behind the mass shooting that killed 14 people and injured at least 21 others in San Bernardino, California this week. Following the shooting, President Barack Obama called for new gun control measures, including one that would ban any individual on the FBI's terrorist watch list, otherwise known as the no-fly list, from buying guns. "For those who are concerned about terrorism, some may be aware of the fact that we have a no-fly list where people can't get on planes," Obama told Read more »

The people who bring in rifles without a case, muzzle sweeps half the store while "inspecting" a firearm, or is generally a danger to employees or other customers. Don't be that guy. Video: Archer Shoots Through 38 Water Balloons to Hit Bullseye

Thu, 12/03/2015 - 13:15

Do you think 38 water balloons will stop an arrow? This clip from a Chinese game shows us that shooting an arrow through 38 water balloons is possible, but it requires skill. The archer had to aim for the top of the balloons so that the arrow would pass through as little water as possible. If the arrow had passed through the widest part, it would have likely not passed through even half the balloons. Still, that shot required some pretty serious force. I wonder what the draw weight was on the bow in the video? // Think he can hit the target with 38 water balloons in the...

We would be hard-pressed to find a more efficient method, and it cost practically nothing to use! Now if only they could hook up an ax to an elliptical that automatically chops wood, that would be a true life...
