Fri, 11/20/2015 - 14:20

Tents are great for keeping out rain, wind, or snow, but if you want to enjoy a little sunshine you need to step outside. That's the problem that the Mollusc tent was designed to solve. According to its creator, the Mollusc is the only tent in the world that can fully open and close in three seconds. Video: Using .50 Caliber Guns at a USPSA Match

Fri, 11/20/2015 - 11:37

Our wrists hurt after watching this video. Bringing .50 caliber guns to a USPSA match is definitely not for everyone. Even if you have the massive wrists needed to handle the recoil and muzzle jump of firing one of these massive handguns, this will still be one of the pricier matches in terms of ammo expended. In the video below, David Starr runs a few stages with a .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum revolver as well as a Desert Eagle in .50AE. Judging by how high that muzzle flipped, the .500 S&W was definitely the bigger beast in this match. https://youtu.be/JMjDzMZY2Yw...

Much of North America as it is today was built on the backs of the trappers and explorers who trekked into the wilds in search of the furs that drove the economy. Who hasn’t dreamt of wearing buckskins and a coon-skin cap, paddling down a river in a birch-bark canoe, loaded down with furs? Education Modern trappers play an important part in conservation. Video: Snake Strangles Bird to Avoid Being Eaten

Thu, 11/19/2015 - 13:39

As far as natural defenses go, there are probably few methods better than strangling the predator trying to eat you. After all, they can't exactly eat you if they're dead. According to the below video, these hikers in Minas Gerais, Brazil found a snake and a bird locked in a life and death battle after the bird tried to gobble up the slithery creature. The snake responded by wrapping itself around the bird's neck and attempting to strangle it. It was doing pretty well until the hikers arrived too. The men were able to provoke the snake into leaving after prodding it with a stick and...

Video: No Plunger? Just Use a Shotgun to Unclog Your Toilet

Thu, 11/19/2015 - 13:09

A clogged toilet can be pretty frustrating and you might be tempted to go to extreme measures to unclog it. However, a shotgun should never be one of those measures. This video (which is obviously a joke) is about as far away from a plunging tutorial as you can get, mostly because the toilet in question ends up a pile of shattered porcelain. If anything this video is a tutorial on toilet annihilation. Maybe next time TWANGnBANG could test out some more exotic rounds on any toilets he has lying...
