It’s been called a Batmobile and a Transformer, but whatever you want to call it, it’s definitely turning heads.
The San Francisco Police Department debuted their newest all terrain vehicle during the Bay Bridge Series over the weekend. And when they say “all terrain” they mean it. The “quadski” goes from off-road to water without a hitch.
“It’s pretty unique. This watercraft will do 45 miles per hour on land or water. It just changes from mode to mode in a push of a button,” said SFPD Sgt. Keith Matthews.
Rides on the quadski aren’t being given to the general public at this time, although not for lack of people asking.

Director Michael Bay — who is best known for blow’em up action films like Transformers, Bad Boys, Armageddon — has taken on the politically charged incident in Benghazi, Libya, when Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound on Sept. 11, 2012, and killed two Americans, including a U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
“13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” is a story about six members of a security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound after the attack by radical Islamist terrorists.
The film stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Max Martini, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, and Freddie Stroma. The film is scheduled to be released on Jan. 15, 2016, by Paramount Pictures.
