How many iPhones does it take to stop a bullet? (VIDEO)
The guys at Everything Apple Pro must have had a bunch of extra iPhones taking up space because they decided to see how many it took to stop a 5.45mm round from an AK-74.
The question is, how many iPhones you would have to have in your pocket in order for them to save your life? They experimented with 8, mostly iPhone 6’s but included a Samsung Galaxy X6 bringing up the rear.
The answer, not to ruin anything for you, was less than 8.
*Obligatory disclaimer: always wear eye and ear pro when on the range, and don’t rely on your smart phone for ballistic protection no matter what the interwebs say.

What we can learn from a tragedy
The recent massacre in Charleston is a national tragedy, and my prayers go out to the families of the innocent victims and to the whole congregation at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. It makes me sick to think of how a madman took their lives in such a horrific way.

The guys at Node, who specialize in gaming, decided to try their hand at the epic diving shots so often seen in first person shooters, with some interesting results.
Joined by some of the stunt/action team from EMC Monkeys, who make it look easy, they donned eye pro and picked up the airsoft guns to see if they could make accurate hits on balloons arrayed just downrange.
Do they hit any? Do they get power-ups? Do they shatter their face on landing? Watch the above and try to get to the save point.
