IGN ranks top 100 video game weapons of all time
The world of video games doesn’t typically require a tether to reality, which leaves a lot of room for thinking up ways to kill stuff. IGN put together a list of its favorite video game weapons of all time, most of which don’t exist in the real world – yet. Here are some of the more realistic firearms IGN chose.

One of four terrorists who took part in a three-day killing spree which started at the printing offices of the Charlie Hebdo last week, made his way to a Paris market where he took several hostages, killing four. A swarm of authorities stormed the market in an attempt to stop the gunman, who was later identified as 32-year-old Amedy Coulibaly.
The raw footage shows the moment when the gunman runs out of the front door, and into a hail of bullets before falling to the ground.

Veteran shot by wife when he’s mistaken for intruder (VIDEO)
One man is lucky to be alive after his wife, mistaking him for an intruder, shot him in the chest.
Zia Segule, who is stationed at Fort Bragg, had left his Fayetteville, North Carolina, home Friday morning around 10 a.m. to grab some breakfast for him and his wife. But when Segule returned, he tripped the security alarm. Segule’s wife, Tiffany, believing that someone had broken into the house, opened fire through the bedroom door when she heard someone in the house.
Unbeknown to her, her husband was on the other side of the door.
The gunfire, which caliber has not been disclosed, struck Zia in the chest, but he was treated and released from the hospital, all in the same day.
Following the incident, Zia said, “I’m good.”
