...Inmate turns self in after he was released by mistake
A man who was accidentally released from the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center last week decided to do what was right and turn himself back in to authorities after enjoying a full day of freedom.
Steven O’Leary, 38, was behind bars for a theft charge and was awaiting a transfer to a drug treatment house when the mix-up occurred. Upon his return, O’Leary was seen in court later that afternoon and has since been transferred to Baltimore’s Friendship House for drug treatment.

Dangerous rights
In debates with advocates of gun control, I often hear the claim that gun rights are distinct from other rights because of the danger of guns—presuming the advocates of control will admit that gun ownership and carry are, in fact, rights. The presumption that mostly goes unstated is that if something is dangerous, it must be controlled. I’ve considered the tension between freedom and safety before, arguing that all rights are dangerous precisely to the degree that they involve the individual exercise of power and choice. But it can seem too easy to say that all rights are dangerous. I’m frequently presented with the claim that words don’t kill, for example. This assertion deserves analysis.
...Can we construct a counter-narrative to ISIS’s end goal? (AUDIO)
Since 9/11, the philosophy has been moderate Muslims need to speak out against extremism and create a counter-narrative to the one peddled first by al-Qaida and now by ISIS.
National Public Radio talks with Scott Atran, an anthropologist who has spent a lot of time talking with former ISIS fighters, and he says moderation is not the answer.
He co-authored an article for The New York Review of Books, entitled “Paris: The War ISIS Wants.” He said in order to understand ISIS, you have to look at how they define their mission. Their goal, he says, as stated in their manifesto, is to inhabit places in chaos and then breed that chaos everywhere else.

5 Frozen turkeys face up to a Smith and Wesson 500 (VIDEO)
The best way to avoid tryptophan overdose this week is just to not eat any turkey and in the 22Plinkster household it looks like they are going without this holiday.
So in the end, how many frozen gobblers do you think the .500 will go through? We think its an unscientific test as the giblets and mass of each thunder chicken can vary significantly.
And just think of the horror of all those turkey sammiches going to waste. Downright un-American but still entertaining and educational if you are ever attacked by turkey zombies at the South Pole.
P.S. Those turkeys left intact were donated to needy families. Watch the video to find out just how many made it.

Georgia bunker ‘The Facility’ hits market for $17.5 million (11 pics)
Relocate your cult into more comfortable digs with all the modern conveniences you’re accustomed to but still far enough away from society that no one can properly escape with a new underground bunker dubbed “The Facility.” The property just hit the market for $17.5 million and is located two hours away from the moral cesspool of Savannah.
...Hickok45 runs suppressed Uzi in Tennessee-based drills (VIDEO)
If you live in rural Tennessee like Hickok45 and you run an Uzi, you do rural Tennessee things with said Uzi in your down time. Such as shooting your Israeli subgun off your John Deere, from your bicycle and from the bed of your pickup.
And in doing so, Hickok shows just how fun a heavy 9mm with a big ol’ en-quieter on the end of it can be.
This is why ISIS will never win. Behind every blade of grass, kid.
