...Meet Gilvin Daughtry, constitutionalist (VIDEO)
As part of an upcoming skit comedy show on Netflix, David Cross plays know-your-rights advocate Gilvin Daughtry, and gets prepper sprayed for his efforts.
“I’m not required to have a nice day, officer,” Daughtry, with Citizens Against Unlawful Abuse, advises through the two inch gap in his window at a police checkpoint manned by a bluecoat who looks suspiciously like Keegan-Michael Key.
Hats off if you noticed the same fake beer company (Heisler) made infamous in Workaholics.
And you’re a statist if you laughed at anything in the video other than that.

Can you chop a phone pole in half with a rifle? (VIDEO)
The Demolition Ranch team responded to viewer’s requests to see if its possible to cut through a utility pole with (enough) rifle fire. Short answer: yes.
Sure, you can probably drill through anything if given enough time and ammo, so the DR crew grabbed a gas-piston POF 7.62x39mm caliber AR platform and went to work with a stack of steel cased ammo.
Of course it took two days to pull it off, but there is a kitten story in there somewhere to account for that.

Why yes, that IS a 35 round horseshoe mag, thanks for asking (VIDEO)
Ian over at Forgotten Weapons got his hands on a French-made Union pistol from the 1920s, complete with a 35-round horseshoe magazine that is no joke.
The handgun with an extended barrel, which dates back to 1925, is in .32ACP and the detachable ‘shoe has to be loaded via a tool as things can get kinda wonky without it.
Why so many rounds? Well, besides the obvious answer of “why not!” is the fact that many Union pistols were also produced in select-fire variants, making a 35-shot feedbag a welcome addition when keeping this pony running.
Tell me again how the 33-shot mag on your G17 is awkward at the range…

Ballistics of a German gluckspfennig via the slingshot guy
Bavarian DIY arsenalsmith Joerg Sprave stumbled across a roll of gluckspfennig, old pre-Euro German pennies, so of course he had to make a launcher to shoot them– at 143mph.
“Of course we have to test it against ballistics gelatin,” says Sprave, after looking at the exit hole of a pfennig when blasted through random household objects.
Ho Ho Ho.
