Watch the Ole Miss rifle team zap grapes, playing cards and erasers (VIDEO)

Mon, 09/28/2015 - 18:08

Everybody is talking about Ole Miss football these days, but wait till you see what the Women’s smallbore rifle team can pull off.

Sure, anyone can poke holes in targets, but how about popping a grape swaying on a string or trimming the edge off a pencil eraser (#2, not a Huskie).

Then they call in junior Alison Weisz for some card-splitting.

If her name sounds familiar Weisz is an up and coming smallbore champ who became the first freshman in Ole Miss Rifle history to qualify for the NCAA Championships, then as a sophomore led the team with a season average of 572.8 in smallbore– which is beyond pretty good.

FPS Russia goes on the offensive against melons with a .458 SOCOM (VIDEO)

Mon, 09/28/2015 - 17:16

The ammo of choice for slaying today’s explosive melons is a 300-grain Controlled Fracturing .458 from Lehigh Defense, which looks like a brass ashtray.

But as a warm up to the fruit salad, FPS Russia blasts some paint cans (ah the colors, the colors), shows the penetration in ballistics gel (for a really beautiful channel), smokes a stack of toilet bowls, then moves on to the reaping of the watermelons.

And he reaps them all the way.
