A woman who once lived in Kansas has been arrested after federal prosecutors charged her with joining the Islamic State group and leading an all-female battalion of AK-47 wielding militants.

The U.S. Attorney in Alexandria, Virginia, announced Saturday that Allison Fluke-Ekren, 42, has been charged with providing material support to a terrorist organization.

The criminal complaint was filed under seal back in 2019 but made public Saturday after Fluke-Ekren was brought back to the U.S.

Clinging to Delusions: Permitless Carry Opposition and Your Neighbor’s Freedom to Protect Himself

Sun, 01/30/2022 - 14:00

By Rob Morse

It is more dangerous when honest men and women face criminals barehanded, and safer when the good guys are armed? That isn’t a hard question to answer. It’s easy to calculate the additional lives we’d save each year if a state allows honest people to carry guns in public. I’ll explain it in a minute.

I will, but the real mystery here is why we’re still talking about fantasy problems while real violent criminals are killing our neighbors.

Both are smaller profile 6 MOA red dot sights intended for mounting on popular EDC pistols like the SIG P365, Taurus GX4 TORO, and the Springfield Hellcat (above). That’s the noticeably smaller profile RXU-200, above.

Sun, 01/30/2022 - 10:00

The National Football League has some good people in it. It also has a lot of individuals who make great money chasing the pigskin, but making great money can’t buy civilized behavior. Former Ohio State standout and ex-Las Vegas Raider Damon Arnette fits the latter category.

Arnette has had a whole lot of problems in his short time in the NFL, but now he’s got a whole new plate full of them, including no more paychecks.

One More Time: It’s Not ‘Gun Violence’ It’s Gang Violence

Sat, 01/29/2022 - 13:00

Every time you hear a politician or a media personality mention “gun violence,” you should mentally translate that phrase to “gang violence.” Not only that, but ask yourself if that politician or media outlet has an agenda by mislabeling gang violence as something entirely different.

Obviously politicians who have enabled the “criminal justice reforms” that have directly resulted in the out-of-control increases in violent crime across America don’t want to talk about criminals and gangs.

It’s Time for Florida’s Long Fight For Constitutional Carry to Come to an End

Thu, 01/27/2022 - 14:00

Florida advertises itself as one of the freest states in the union, as stated by Governor Ron DeSantis (R) on January 11 during his State of the State address to the legislature. In reality, Florida’s political freedoms are much like Walt Disney World. A lot of it is make believe and misdirection.

Twenty-one states have passed constitutional carry laws and another four to five are on the cusp of political victory on that front this year.
