Yet to no one’s surprise, many Aussies persist in keeping their guns hidden away. Despite all this, the tyrants who currently run the government in Oz aren’t satisfied. They believe over a quarter million “unregistered” guns remain in circulation.

California Senate Bill Would Require Parents of Public School Students to Disclose Firearm Ownership

California Senator Anthony Portantino is back at it with a new “campus safety” bill that he says is aimed at preventing school shootings.
“With common sense proactive measures, we can prepare educators and parents to identify red flags and ultimately prevent tragedies,” Portantino said. “In many cases of a school shootings there were warning signs. Recent events in Michigan show that there sometimes is hesitancy in acting on them, which could lead to tragic results.

In other words, she believes in hiring armed good guys to ensure her own safety while advocating for less protection for the little people in her home state of Georgia.
Of course, Governor Abrams wouldn’t be the first advocate for gun control who hired their own private security.

San Jose’s New Gun Owner Tax is Misplaced, Ineffective, and Unserious
6. Unconstitutional Tax
San Jose refers to the new fee imposed on gun owners as a “Gun Harm Reduction Fee,” but it’s nothing less than an unconstitutional tax on the exercise of an enumerated right.
The Supreme Court has struck down similar laws, reasoning that “a state may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the federal Constitution.”
This is precisely what San Jose’s fee does—require gun owners to pay an annual sum of money to exercise their Second Amendment rights inside the city.

SHOT Show: Daniel Defense DD4 RIII Carbines and Pro Chassis System For Bolt Guns
Daniel Defense announced its new RIII line of carbines and its Pro Chassis System at SHOT, which is now available as a standalone product for both Delta 5 and Remington 700 actions.
The RIS III handguard uses the same 6-bolt attachment system found on the RIS II handguard that was developed for SOCOM, but ditches the quad Picatinny rails for seven sides of M-LOK slots.
Lower receivers are the same as previous generations of DD4 rifles but they’ve been made ambidextrous with the addition of a right-side bolt catch and release lever.
