$6 To More Interesting Dryfire
Getting started with dryfire is super easy. Tape some scaled dryfire targets to the wall, clear your pistol, maybe put a par timer app on your phone, and go to town.
...Working the Match Makes You Better – 141

...If You Want It, You’ve Got To Work For It
I’ve been right on the verge of making A-class in Production division for about 3 months now. I’ve got a handful of pretty good classifiers in the 75-78% range, and I just need one more classifier above 75% to get my average into the A-class range.
...Simple Self Defense: Lock Your Doors
I just came across this video, and watching it, and thinking about how long this guy was in the house is frightening. He just walked in, looked moderately harmless, but the caption on the videy says that he was found in the kitchen holding a steak knife. He’s lucky mama didn’t feel more threatened and give him both barrels.
...Is it Worth it to Make a Customized Glock Grip Plug?
Steve sent us a message on on the Triangle Tactical Facebook page with his question:
...Being “Out” As A Gun Guy… Awesome Once Again
I met a new person yesterday, and ended up spending a while chatting with her about all sorts of stuff. As part of our conversation we got to talking about the Paleo diet, and I have a standard picture in my phone that I use to show people my weight loss. The picture is a comparison of me shooting two different matches, pistol in hand, one where I’m big and fat and disgusting, and one after I lost about 60lbs.
...Lansing, MI Mayor Isn’t Happy About Armed Citizens
“It used to mean something!” lol, this guy is hilarious. He can’t seem to grasp that people have a right to keep, and bear arms. I can’t even be mad at him, because his rant was so entertaining.

Should IDPA allow AIWB carry?
Caleb sent us a question on Facebook:
Why doesn’t IDPA allow Appendix Carry? Do you think it should? If I remember correctly, Ben carries appendix carry, so I would imagine he would be in favor of it. I have only shot USPSA matches, but I would definitely shoot IDPA too if they allowed AIWB.

Who Cares Who the President Is? – 139
This week Ben and I have a discussion about the upcoming race for USPSA President. Up to this point, I haven’t really cared about it much, as I generally feel that things are going just fine with the sport, and as a somewhat casual shooter, I can’t think of what needs to be fixed. Ben however has a much deeper understanding of these things than I do, and explains to me (and you) why it’s important, and who is running on which platform, etc. I’m actually interested now, and I think even if you don’t shoot USPSA, you’ll find the discussion interesting.
