The new gun bubble (VIDEO)

Tue, 01/05/2016 - 14:03

Looking at it from the eyes of an investor, journalists for Reuters discuss how President Obama’s executive order on background checks is sparking a third U.S. firearms boom — and the bust that will likely follow.

Popping the bubbly from 65 feet with a 1873 Winchester

Wed, 12/30/2015 - 18:15

Members of the Hungarian muzzleloading club decided to test out their Uberti-repro 1873 Winchester lever gun to see if they could pop the cork off their New Years champagne.

Their smokepole of choice is a breechloader. They used hand loaded .44-40 cartridge with a 240-grain lead bullet over a black powder load which seems able to do the job of nipping the cork off without otherwise damaging the potent potable inside…other than allowing half of it to pour out into the berm.

Anyway, Happy New Year!

Richmond cop breaks it down, Disney’s ‘Frozen’ style (VIDEO)

Wed, 12/30/2015 - 15:45

Law enforcement officers are sworn to protect and serve, and sometimes, to some officers – like Jonathan Natoli with the Richmond Police Department – serving means singing “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen” with a 10-year-old girl.

The adorable duet was captured on video during a party hosted earlier this month by Celebrate! RVA, a non-profit organization that provides birthday parties for disadvantaged children. The video was later posted to the Richmond Police Department’s Facebook page.

As for Officer Natoli, he’s just glad the video didn’t capture his voice.

Louder With Crowder vs. The Young Turks on the Second Amendment (VIDEO)

Tue, 12/29/2015 - 13:53

Steven Crowder of “Louder With Crowder” recently engaged in a rebuttal to an explanation of the meaning behind the Second Amendment as interpreted by Cenk Uygur of the popular YouTube Channel “The Young Turks.” Uygur points out why he believes the Second Amendment doesn’t really apply to average, ordinary citizens, while Crowder argues why he is wrong.

The only thing sweeter than snowballs are exploding snowballs (VIDEO)

Tue, 12/29/2015 - 12:58

The Full Mag gang took a break from their ordinarily boring life of shooting up random items to disintegrate a random snowball that we suspect may have been slightly altered.

While they didn’t come clean as to exactly what said snowball was made from, it seemed to have some very binary characteristics.

Which reminds us, have a safe and happy New Year and be careful around those pyrotechnics this week!

Proper use of the forearm with the AK (VIDEO)

Mon, 12/28/2015 - 15:11

“God gave you the forearm to better operate AK rifle”  says Robski with the AK Operator’s Union, Local 47-74, calling out a common problem seen in AK users.

As such, he drops his thoughts on going from standing to prone positions with the Kalash and other issues such as “for the running” that he sees often with early AK aficionados to help “knock-o down dey badguy.”

All hail, Robski.

P.S. Always remember your eye-pro.
