Card splitting through the center of a Girl Scout cookie? (VIDEO)
Sure, anyone can split a playing card with a .22LR, right? How about through the center of a Girl Scout Samoan cookie without harming said sugary treat?
Well it’s not just anyone in this case, but backyard rimfire extraordinaire .22Plinkster at work and surely he can get it on the second try at least– those cookies get expensive after a while.

Slow-motion video shows LaVoy Finicum with hands up as bullets hit truck (VIDEO)
New video footage was released Tuesday evening of the encounter between Oregon protesters and law enforcement that left Robert “LaVoy” Finicum dead.
The video gave some greater insight into Finicum’s last minutes before he was shot and kille, but The Oregonian stepped it up a notch, zoomed in and slowed the video, showing Finicum’s hands were clearly in the air when bullets shattered the driver’s side back window of his truck as he stands just feet from it.

Foot armor: Steel toe boot vs. .22LR (VIDEO)
That master of the rimfire penetration video, 22Plinkster, answers the burning question that is, “Will a .22 go through a steel toe boot?”
After first verifying the combat boots are steel and not faux or phenolic, Plink uses some CCI Stingers fired through first a Browning Buckmark, then a Henry lever action rifle which provides a little jump in velocity, to do the field research.
Because, Science!

USS Eisenhower conducts solemn burial at sea ceremony (VIDEO)
Earlier this month the carrier, while underway, consigned the mortal remains of six former service members to the embrace of the deep.
The Navy’s Burial at Sea Program continues a tradition dating back to the earliest days of mariners lost while on the waves. It allows deceased active, former and retired personnel of any of the uniformed services, as well as civilian mariners of the Navy’s Military Sealift Command and dependent family members to be committed to the deep.
While family members cannot attend as the ship is underway at sea, the commanding officer will notify survivors of the date, time, and coordinates where the committal was performed.

Ted Cruz gets downright weird in new campaign ad (VIDEO)
It turns out presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has some rather unexpected hobbies, like eating human hair and twerking. In fact, Cruz may be able to give Miley Cyrus a run for her money in a twerking contest any day of the week.
Okay, maybe not.
But “Bad Lip Reading” has put together a hilarious campaign ad full of voice overs. And when they say bad lip reading, they don’t mean bad like can’t read the teleprompter bad, they mean bad like okay, you should just be quiet now.

Did SNL take this Trump ad too far or is it spot on? (VIDEO)
In classic, non-politically correct Saturday Night Live-style, the folks over at NBC took advantage of the political playground and asked “real Americans” what they think about Donald Trump as a potential candidate for president of the United States.
While those queried appear to be just average, ordinary Americans, their true colors start to show around the 0:44 mark.

The grossest Jello shots ever fired from a Ruger Vaquero
Switching between magnum pistol primers and 209 shotgun primers with no powder, TwangnBang made up a fresh batch of .45 Colt Jello rounds just like Mom used to make.
Using no gunpowder and some extra gooey strawberry Jello in a wax bullet system, he experiments between the two primer-only loads and got some really nasty results as the heat of the explosion burnt the gel, solidifying it on impact.
Maybe good for low-budget special effects on Indie movies on a non-OSHA compliant set though.
Cue the Cosby jokes here.

The Razzies are in, and 50 Shades of Grey gets the SAW (VIDEO)
With the Golden Raspberry Awards out, it turns out 50 Shades of Grey picked up five Razzies and some 5.56mm love to boot.
The Razzies, held just after the only slightly more coveted Oscars, salute the worst that Hollywood has to offer each year and in their 36th consecutive embrace of the suck, handed 50SOG awards for worst actor, worst actress, worst screenplay, worst screen combo and the big enchilada, worst picture.
With that in mind, Richard and the Full Mag gang let rip on a copy of the film with a super sweet 10-pound SAW K as a coup de grace to help put down the wounded animal.

Thermite grenade vs Limo (VIDEO)
In more proof that the Richard and the FullMag guys have too much money on their hands, they drop a thermite grenade on a limo. (Kinda)
Ostensibly it’s a plug for the upcoming Gerald Butler movie London Has Fallen, and they didn’t actually have a legit thermite grenade– so they used a clay flower pot with 2-3 times the amount of thermite found in an actual TH3 grenade, then blew the whole thing up for effect.
Which should satisfy some of the inner pyro in you.

Robber goes from ‘in charge’ to face on the floor in 20 seconds flat (VIDEO)
A guy intent on robbing a restaurant last week didn’t take into account one of the victims being armed as well, and the moment the tables were turned was captured on surviellence video.
The two men were standing at the counter when the suspect suddenly pulls out a gun and presumably demands money. The clerk empties the register as the customer calmly empties his wallet, waiting for the opportune moment to make a move.
In one fluid motion, the customer hands over his cash and grabs his gun from his waistband. Within seconds, he has the suspect on the floor surrendering.
