*WATCH* Colion Noir vs Bill Mahar: They Talk Guns, And You Have To Watch It
If you’re a gun guy or gal, then you are probably familiar with Colion Noir. The Gun-YouTuber-Guru-Turned-NRA-TV-Guru had the opportunity to sit down with Bill Maher on his HBO show ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’.
The show aired a few nights ago, and we couldn’t be more proud of Noir and his interaction with Maher. It was a great discussion, and it’s people like Noir that the gun industry needs out in front.

*WATCH* GLOCK 17 vs. HI-POINT C9
When it comes to pistols, Hi-Point gets a relatively bad rap in the industry. So to take things to more of an extreme, one of the guys at TFB decided to do a head-to-head challenge with the Hi-Point C9 and the GLOCK 17.
The results may surprise you.
In this episode of TFBTV, James compares the $400-$500 Glock 17 to the lowly $100-$150 Hi-Point C9 (seriously). Both of these are black, semiautomatic handguns chambered in 9mm, but that’s about where the similarities end. It’s safe to assume that the much more expensive Glock is “better” than the inexpensive Hi-Point, but how much better? $400 better? Which is the better bargain? What does the Glock do that the Hi-Point can’t? All of those questions and more are tackled by James today on TFBTV.
Denver’s Ban On Bump Stocks: The Numbers Are In On How Many Were Turned In
DENVER, COLORADO — In January, Denver officials banned the use and possession of bump stocks after the Las Vegas shooting. Since then, the number of bump stocks handed over to authorities has been released.
Zero.
The ban, which was largely regarded as symbolic, also included magazines that can hold more than 15 rounds. Whether or not any of those have been turned in remains unknown, but we can say that bump stocks are still with their rightful owners.
DPD’s message to gun owners in February was more of a suggestion than an order: “If Denver residents are in possession of a bump stock, and would like to turn-in their bump stock to the Denver Police Department, they can do so at any Denver Police Station.”
Sometimes, things just don’t work out.
Dad Shoots Daughter’s Ex As He Tries Breaking Into Their Home
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA — An armed father shot his daughter’s ex-boyfriend when he tried crawling into a window of their home.
Who knows that would have happened if this father weren’t armed, but he was, and the threat was taken care of. Local media reports;
The incident occurred at the 1600 block of W. McFadden. The SAPD responded after they got a call about domestic violence. However the police arrived before the ex-boyfriend did. So they left.
But the ex-boyfriend, identified as Robert White, 38, of Garden Grove, came back to the home later and that is when the dad shot and wounded him.
White was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries. An investigation continues.
This is yet another story that shows the law-abiding citizen defending themselves and others against real threats that show up in our crazy world.
Remember while at home, that it’s just as important to stay armed as it is if you’re out and about. Just because you’re home does not mean that crime won’t and can’t touch you.

So Far, 3 Companies And NSSF Cut Off Dick’s. More To Come?
If you’re in the dark, Dick’s Sporting Goods has been getting the ax by a number of firearm manufacturers and others in the firearms community after they made a few moves that show the company does not support 2nd Amendment rights like they say they do.
So far, three gun companies and the National Shooting Sports Foundation have dumped Dicks Sporting Goods. Dicks continues to double down on their anti 2A crusade and the backlash around the country making an effect. Continue to boycott Dicks Sporting Goods.
To hear about how Dick’s got to the point they’re currently at, watch the video above for a brief history of what’s been going on.
Question: Do You Visit Anti-Gun Businesses, Or Do You Avoid Them Completely?
There are a lot of people out there who say that they’ll never give business to a company that’s openly anti-gun, and there’s quite a large list of such businesses.
While it’s nearly impossible to avoid them all (like Google, for example), the question remains;
Do you make a conscious effort to not shop at businesses that have a no guns policy?
Google Replacing It’s Gun Emoji To Squirt Gun
Google is rolling out an update to it’s Andriod users, and part of that is an emoji change of their firearm emoji. Instead of a pistol, it’s now… a squirt gun.
Emojipedia.com was the first to find the change, and they made a handy chart to see just how emojis have changed over the years in the world of the gun emoji. Most have switched to squirt guns, and Google likely made the change to be in-line with it’s other major competition.
According to emojipedia, Facebook is also going to get into the squirt gun game with a change coming up.
But what does all of this say? Is it really necessary to not show the likeliness of a firearm? Are people that inclined to go out and shoot someone because of an emoji that they use on the internet? Are we truly turning into a world filled with… wimps?
Back in the day, most High Schools in the country offered firearm classes. Heck, many students brought their rifles to school and kept them in their vehicles.
It’s a completely different world now. What’s changed?

Question of the day: Do You Alternate Holsters?
The concealed carry universe isn’t short on one thing: Holsters. They’re everywhere. So many companies are out there that make a (usually) nice little setup for your favorite concealed carry firearm.
With so many choices, chances are you’ve got yourself a few. At least.
Some are acquired through trial and error while others just look like something we want. So, we buy. Many people haven’t found the ‘perfect’ holster, but those people likely have more than one.
But, are they relied upon?
So the question today: If you have multiple holsters, do you use multiple holsters? As in, a few days you use Holster A and a few days you use Holster B.
This, of course, is talking about the same firearm. There’s no doubt that you have multiple holsters because you have multiple firearms.
Stick to this question: Do you rotate multiple holsters for a single firearm?
Man Accidentally Shoots Himself While Trying To Defend Against Robbers At His Home
A man was outside sweeping his porch when two robbers approached him and demanded money. While it’s not specified in the story, it seems that the man was carrying his firearm and was able to draw it.
However, he shot himself instead of the bad guys.
[Derrick] Collins pulled out his gun to ward the two robbers off and accidentally shot himself in the left forearm.
He was also shot in the chest, but deputies are trying to figure out if that wound was also self-inflicted or if it was the robbers that shot him.
Luckily, Collins is in stable condition at the hospital. The robbers got away, and it’s unclear if they were struck by any flying bullets.
This is still a case of guns saving lives, simply because his firearm was enough to send the bad guys running. It is also, however, a realization that we need to be prepared for such an event to happen and make sure that we are mindful of our body parts if we ever have to pull the trigger.
This could have ended much worse for Collins, but we hope that he heals quickly and is able to go home soon.
Watch This Parent Pull Out A Knife During A PTA Meeting To Prove His Point
The video commentator speaks of a switchblade, but it doesn’t look like such a knife in the video. Regardless, concern was raised when a parent pulled out this knife while making a point that, if SHTF, police will take time to respond and damage can be done in the meantime.
Watch the video above.
His point was how easy it was for him to get into the school with a knife. Whether he was trying to promote metal detectors, armed police, armed teachers, or all of the above remains unknown from the video. However, his point was clearly made.
The way in which he made his point is up for debate. Sure it got people talking and opening their eyes, but it seems a little extreme in the way that he did it. Talking to a kid, telling that kid that she is vulnerable, and then displaying a knife. People were definitely upset.
Simply stating that “I have a knife on me and got into the school” would have probably sufficed, since everyone there would have known that they didn’t have to walk through a metal detector or get searched before entering.
In any event, a point was made and has received attention. What do you think about this parent’s approach at his daughters’ school?
[WATCH] 3 Mistakes Concealed Carriers Make
We’ve beat this topic to death in the past, but still love seeing what others have to say on the topic.
With concealed carry –just like anything else– mistakes will be made, especially by people who are new to the lifestyle.
While we’ll all make mistakes, it’s no excuse not to learn from those mistakes and then take steps to change our behavior.
Give the above video a watch and see how much you agree with the 3 mistakes that he picked to discuss. There are many more, we assure you, but this video is a great contribution to those of us who carry a firearm.
*WATCH* I’m Pro-Gun, Change My Mind (2nd Edition)
“Steven Crowder takes to the streets to have real conversations with everyday citizens and students on hot button issues. Today, we talk about the 2nd Amendment.”
This is the 2nd edition of the same topic, and it’s folks like Steven Crowder who add some serious legitimacy to gun owners everywhere. You’ll want to take the time to watch the above video, because it’s just that great.
When we have a real debate with real facts, it’s impossible to ignore the true issues that we face.
President Trump Moves To Ban Bump Stocks
A few days ago, President Trump gave his support to ban bump stocks, like the one used in the Vegas shooting back in October of last year.
His call for banning the devices has been received with mixed reviews.
In a video posted last Wednesday, the President said the following;
“Just a few moments ago I signed a memo directing the attorney general to propose regulations that ban all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns,” Trump said at a Medal of Valor event at the White House, addressing Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
“I expect these regulations to be finalized, Jeff, very soon,” Trump said.
What do you think about his stance on bump stocks?
Do You Support A Strengthened NICS System?
With the debate heating up after the recent school shooting in Florida, where a teen should not have been able to purchase the firearm he used to kill 17 and injure others, one of the hot topics is strengthening the NICS background check system to include more information on mentally-ill people.
With this particular case, however, many things were handled incorrectly. The FBI and local police were both tipped off about the gunman, but failed to act. The school itself failed to press charges after he was found to have knives at school, which would have likely seen a felony charge. That would have red-flagged him in the NICS system.
Would a stronger background check accomplish anything? Would a new way to determine if someone is mentally unfit to own a firearm make a difference?
What’s the root cause of these shootings?
Ok, let’s not get too involved with the questions.
The basic question at the moment: Do you support a strengthened NICS system? Regardless of your answer, explain your thoughts behind it in the comments below.
What Is The Best Pistol You’ve Ever Owned?
The best of anything is different for each person. We’re individuals, dammit. The most popular cereal on the market isn’t going to be everyone’s favorite… it’s simply the most popular.
The same can be said for firearms, and we’re sure that the actual list of “Best Pistol” will have on it, well, every single pistol out there. Given enough people giving responses to the question, you can bet that it’ll cover everything.
Without making this a popularity contest, we want to see what pistol is the BEST that YOU have ever OWNED.
If you’ve only had one pistol, and you feel it’s the best, your answer is just as valid as anyone else’s. If it works for you, it works. Period.
So, chime in. Tell us about the best pistol you’ve ever owned.
[WATCH] Here Are Many Examples Of What Not To Do As A Firearms Instructor
This isn’t new, but it’s also something that we want to share again.
Welcome to the world of the worst firearms instructor. Maybe in history.
Since this video and much discussing, the instructor in question has been stripped of his ability to teach ever again.
But, as a student, would you have said something if your instructor was doing things this unsafely?
Watch the video above and then chime in below.
