Wild Video Shows Assault On Shop Employee, Then Take-down Of Suspect After He Draws Gun On Police
The lessons in this video are numerous, even though the victim wasn’t armed or able to defend himself. Let’s be real; after watching the video, this bad guy could have done the good guy in.
If you’re ever in a situation like this, your best bet is to always get yourself to safety if the opportunity arises. Sometimes, the bad guys will just get away with it. It’s never going to be a ‘good guy always wins’ world, as this is simply not reality.
Get yourself to safety if the opportunity arises. You’ll see what I’m talking about in the video;
[VIDEO] Concealed Carry Flawlessness; Armed Robbers Receive Precision Shots From Intended Target
When a self-defense situation plays out pretty flawlessly for the good guy, we can all have a smile on our faces. That’s exactly what happened with today’s video from John at Active Self Protection.
A man and his family were making the most of their night, and decided to head to a cafe. Their plans were interrupted when two armed thugs approached them and demanded their car keys.
Being an off-duty cop, the intended victim shows us just how prepared he was, and it’s obvious by the video that his years of training made this outcome possible.
Drawing and getting that many shots on target is not an easy accomplishment under a stressful situation, but it’s exactly what happened here.
Where’s your confidence level? Do you think that you could have done as well as this off-duty cop did, in order to protect yourself and your family?
[VIDEO] Armed Guard Handles Business When Multiple Armed Robbers Come To Fight
A bad guy armed with a gun isn’t always expecting armed resistance, although I’m sure that it crosses their mind. They aren’t carrying a gun to get into a gun fight; they’re carrying a gun to maintain the upper hand when committing their crimes.
In this instance, an armed guard was alert and ready for such an event, and saw the robbers before they even entered the store.
Shots were fired from both sides, the guard was not injured, and he was able to hit at least one of his targets under the stress that the situation caused.
Let John from ASP walk us through the surveillance video, and point out all of the lessons to be learned;
17-Year-Old Shot and Killed in what Police are calling a Self-Defense Shooting
Photo Copyright : Fernando Gregory Milan / 123RF
GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA — A 17-year-old high school student was shot and killed last month, and police have announced that they believe the teen was trying to commit armed robbery at the time he was shot.
Details surrounding the incident are slim, but what we do know is that the teen was found by police at 10:40 p.m. on March 25. It was not clear whether he was found inside a residence, outside a residence, or on the street.
Police said that the person responsible for shooting the teen is not a threat to the community, and they also believe that the teen carried out the armed robbery attempt by himself.
We’re left under the impression that an armed citizen was able to successfully defend his or herself against an armed treat.
[VIDEO] Deciding To Get Involved In A Situation As A Concealed Carrier Is A Serious Decision
John at ASP has a thing for finding great content to share with everyone, and analyze the situation in a step-by-step method.
This video is no different, and shows how serious things get in a hurry when an armed veteran happened to walk in on an assault while making a trip to the store for some snacks.
This video demonstrates the importance of having the knowledge and skill to keep yourself safe in a close fight. With the threat that close, and with a firearm in your hand, there is literally no room for error.
What’s your takeaway from watching this video?
Ohio Could See Constitutional Carry In It’s Future
Photo Copyright : larryhw / 123RF
A bill was introduced last Wednesday in the Ohio House that would allow all Ohio residents, 21 and older and with no felonies, to carry a concealed firearm without a permit.
Also known as Constitutional Carry.
Nearly half of the Republican House members were on board for the bill. But will it pass? It’s not the first time it’s been introduced.
House Bill 174 was introduced Wednesday by GOP Reps. Ron Hood of Ashville and Tom Brinkman of Cincinnati. The measure immediately attracted 27 co-sponsors from among the 61 majority House Republicans. Hood and Brinkman have introduced the same legislation for years without winning passage.

Watch 60,000 Bump Stocks Get Shredded, Thanks To The New Federal Ban
A few days ago on Tuesday, the ATF banned bump stocks across the Country, due to the actions of one crazy individual.
A company decided to hand over their 60,000 bump stocks to be destroyed. What they could have done is have a free-for-all the weekend before then ban, and then leave it up to the new owners to choose how to dispose of them.
But no, instead we had this;
[VIDEO] Man Tries Fishing With A Shotgun, Ends Up Shooting Himself
When you’re dumb, you’re dumb.
There’s no telling as to whether or not this video is legit or fabricated, but it sure as heck is a ‘what not to do’ video. Before you say ‘who would try such a thing’, just remember the world we live in.
Whether or not the video is real, it’s still irresponsible. Using a firearm for something that it’s not intended for, and holding it in that manner, is just silly and you’re breaking the very important rules.
[WARNING: GRAPHIC] Security Guard Loses Fight When One Attacker Turns Into Multiple Attackers
Many videos that we come across tend to make us very angry, and this is one of them. A security guard stops a suspicious person, and does a pretty good job handling that person. However, that person has a group of thugs that come into the attack just a few seconds later.
And without remorse or a care in the world, they shoot the guard dead.
Then, the initial suspect starts going through the deceased guard’s pockets to see if there’s anything of value that he can get a hold of.
How these people end up the way that they are is beyond me, but there is a special place in hell for each and every one of them.
Take a look at the video and walk through the lessons pointed out by John from ASP, but be warned that the video is graphic.

I carry 1 of 2 S&W Shields in 9mm (both have Ameriglo front night sights). The loaded mag has a magguts +1 and the spare has a SI EMP +2 extension. So 18 rounds total of Hornady Critical Defense or Federal HST. Of the 4 guns I qualified with to carry, the Shield is the one I shot best and can point shoot with. I’m on my 6th Shield holster, and this one is made by Last Line of Defense. The LLOD holster is pricey, but so worth it. The mag and gun retention is adjustable, build into the mold is a raised strip that acts like a wing/claw, height adjustable and the best part is the single raven clip allows the holster to move with you, so it’s more comfortable. I think I have finally found the best AIWB holster for me.

I carry Sig P365 in a TEN80 Tactical multi-point holster.
Due to my work which requires me to spend not only a lot of time sitting but also a good deal of time climbing over and around equipment, I needed a small frame lightweight handgun that wouldn’t impede my movements or get hung up on equipment. I also wasn’t willing to stray away from the 9mm round so the P365 fit the bill perfectly.
The TEN80 holster holds the P365 really well with a nice snap fit and also has reasonably sized leather pad that keeps the whole package comfortable for sitting back against it all day.

This is my Glock 19 carried in a TXC Holster. I’ve carried a 19 for 15 years. It never fails to do it’s job. The TXC Ally holster is the most comfortable appendix rig I’ve ever owned.
[WATCH] Open Carry Gun Snatched Easily By 14-Year-Old; No Retention And No Situational Awareness
If you’d like to easily donate your gun to a thug, follow these steps:
Step 1: Carry your gun openly
Step 2: Use a holster with zero retention
Step 3: Do Not be aware of your surroundings
Following those three simple steps is a great way for you to give the bad guy your gun with relatively little trouble on his part.
Everything above is sarcasm.
But seriously, if you’re going to open carry, use a holster that’s meant for open carry. What do I mean by that? I mean a holster that’s going to keep your firearm in place until YOU are ready to take it out.
Give the video a watch below to see how it all went down.
The teen was caught, and let’s hope that this gun owner learned some valuable lessons.

[VIDEO] No F’s Given Robber Shoots Man In Head; Why Compliance Doesn’t Always Work
There have been many videos shared on Concealed Nation that show bad people doing bad things, but this guy is as cold-blooded as they come.
The video shows a number of robberies, with the first 3 demonstrating compliance. Everyone gets out alive and without a scratch.
But what happens when compliance isn’t enough for the bad guy?
In the 4th video, the armed robber doesn’t waste any time with his first shot once he enters the store. Then when the cashier fails to open the register, likely due to the enormous amount of stress, the robber shoots him in the hip.
Still failing to open the register, the robber leaves nearly empty-handed, but not before shooting the cashier again.
Give this one a watch, and find the valuable lessons that the videos have to teach us.

Question: Have You Ever Carried A Gun Without A Holster?
We’ll have an article up tomorrow about an incident that almost sent a person to the morgue, simply because he was carrying a gun in his pocket without anything protecting the trigger.
Lay it all out. Have you ever had a time where you carried any firearm without using a holster?
I haven’t. Not even once.
